We are roaring into the Twenties with a graceful wave to last century’s design ethics – Henn of London’s unerring ability to create contemporary classics is beautifully illustrated in this celestial set of tanzanite jewels with subtle references to the very finest of art déco parures, known as The Merelani Suite.
The breathtaking bespoke necklace features a single important 61.11 carat faceted oval tanzanite which balances elegantly centre stage, its deep saturated blue set off by princess-cut, pear and marquise shape as well as rose-cut and round brilliant-cut diamonds. The ensemble is expertly hand crafted in 18 carat white gold with opal white enamel and fine engraving to set the scene for the spectacular central gemstone.
A sophisticated ring with an oval faceted 18.27 carat gemstone set in 18 carat white gold can be worn with the necklace. Here opal white enamel and fine engraving was again chosen for the setting, aethetically offsetting the purest blue of the perfect tanzanite. This delicate detailing is combined with pear and marquise shaped, as well round brilliant-cut diamonds.
The final dancing partners in this sublime trio is a pair of faceted oval 48.83 carat tanzanite earrings, once more set in 18 carat white gold. These feature the same skillfully creative effects to showcase the tanzanite gemstones at their heart, here complemented with princess-cut pear and marquise shape as well as rose-cut and round brilliant-cut diamonds.
